My research sits at the intersection of metabolic engineering and systems biology, where I focus on decoding the function of unknown microbial genes. By tackling this major bottleneck in synthetic biology, my work opens the door to engineering non-model microbes for applications in sustainable biomanufacturing.

Apart from research, I enjoy cooking, music and playing games.
